MANDALA AIRLINES MARKED ITS 40TH BIRTHDAY IN GRAND AND COLORFUL FASHION

Established on the 17th of April 1969, Mandala Airlines celebrated four decades of operations with a who’s who of Indonesian aviation past and present.

Held at JW Marriott Jakarta, the event bought together honoured dignitaries and Mandala’s key partners, giving all gathered a chance to honour past achievements, as well as enjoying the entertainment provided by the airline’s talented present-day team.

Speaking at the event, Transportation Minister for the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Jusman Syafii Djamal, told guests.

“The Government really supports the airlines to implement their high commitment to safety. For the last two years, Mandala Airlines has proved itself to be one of the airlines in Indonesia which has successfully restructured its business in terms of both operations and safety.”
