The music fan is impressed with her country’s new bands. “Living away from home, I’ve come to appreciate Indonesia’s creativity even more.” As our Indonesia sub-editor, Camilla has a close hand in all Mandala’s stories. “It’s great, I get to feel like I’m a little closer to home each issue.”

TONI WAHID shot our Kalimantan food feature. He says tracking down cult-favorite dishes was a fun task. “Passion about food connects people in a snap.
